mf awasazma Grammar school teacher high school principal super intendent all in a lifes Work for one of the Boothbay Region s most capable and eflicient educational directors You have probably surmised by now that the man Whom we are talking about IS Mr Harold B Clliford His story started back 1n 1912 when he launched his career as a grammar school teacher at Franklin Maine From there he went back to graduate at Bates College 1n 1916 With his college background he Went on to become principal at Alfred High School teachlng language and mathematics From 1917 1925 he was superintendent of schools in the Hartland Union On July 1 1925 he became superintendent of our own Boothbay Region schools a position which he now success fully maintains Mr Clifford obtained his master s degree at Bates in 1941 and has been active in state W1d6 educational projects Tais page sponsored by: FRANK L.
