No nation in history has devoted so much of its resources to educate so many of its young. In 1960, a new Boonsboro High School was dedicated just for this public purpose. The core of this school was to offer the students the kind of learning experience which increases potential and to equip them with the tools to determine the meaning of life and work. BHS underlies much of what we are or would like to become and inevitably has been the central arena for over 5,000 students during the past twenty-five years. To catch hold of and encompass in words and photographs the past twenty-five years of a school would be impossible. To our great enrichment, the CHIEFTAIN Staff has tried to capture highlights of this chronicled adventure.
