The photos that appear on pages 8 thru 25 spotlight many events and activities of our I 957-’58 school year. PLATE I — Our social studies, core, and practical arts classes (1-6). PLATE II ----- More classes: commercial, science and math (1-7). PLATE III — We butcher our own hogs on our own farm ( 1-2). Industrial arts classes (3-4). Cafeteria scene (5). We line up to eat (6). PLATE IV------The magic carpet comes to our school. Visiting teachers from Japan and Iran enlighten our students about their respective cultures (I, 2, 3, 5). Our visitors watch the birdie with Dr. Newton: left to right - Mr. A. Akhlaghi, of Iran, Mr. Shrio Oe, of Japan. Dr. Newton, Mr. Abdallah Tavakal, of Iran (4). We are glad to have the opportunity of hearing and seeing these friends from other lands. We wish them all the best, and hope that we may see them soon again. PLATE V — A big event for the agriculture department and for B.H.S. The annual Community Fair (1-8). PLATE VI — Program highlights. Our annual Christmas program with cast, stage props, and Glee Club (1-3). Some of our Student Council talent show participants (4-8). PLATE VII — We have dances too.
