Miss Lois Bates, Senior, reigned as queen of the annual Hallcareen Carnival. The following girls surrounded her to add to this gala occa- sion. Miss Helen Urgent, Junior, Miss Worthy Hardin, freshmen and Miss Margie Reynolds fran Junior High. This was one of the best carnivals in many years. The ending of the war made this possible. A hot race was conducted a week before the Friday Night of the Carnival. Everyone entered into this race whole-heartedly but the ever victorous Seniors again came out on top. The money taken in by this race and also proceeds frc n the Carnival were turned over to the libraries for funds to buy new books. I r. r. r. i r. I t t r. r. r. I I r. r. r r r K r
