SENIORS .4-. CATHERINE WILLIAMS JEAN WRIGHT ALEX WINCHESTER REUBEN YOURES MAE ETTA CUMMINGS DOROTHY B. LOGAN BESSIE L. MARTIN JAMES MULLINS class president and who is now running for the President of the U.S., will give our senior class history. When we entered school in 1960, we felt that we had made a great achieve- ment, we were seniors and about to graduate. We tried very hard to maintain high scholastic averages. We had eleven of our students to graduate with honors: Leanna Blackwell, Audrylene Bingham, Ollie Mae Thomas, Gloria Anne Harbor, Eddie Neal, Jimmy Jones, Sandra Davis, Williette Hamlett, Murian Hairston, Lloyd Hairston andJohn Albert Settle. We feel we owe the success of our senior year to our patient, understanding and encouraging advisors: Mr. Young, Mrs. Spruill, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Oliphant. Truly, as the years have gone by, we can see our lives in retrospect--many disappointments and failures, many successes--all make up life. It is inthis respect that we have measured our progress year by year--from 1957 to this year, 1971, the year of our second reunion. I Audrylene Bingham Williette Hamlett I8
