We were so unaware of what a yearbook was all about. Little did we know of the time and effort necessary to the publication of a good yearbook. Many thanks go to the people who helped make this yearbook possible. A special thanks goes to our advisor and photographer, Miss Carol Waites. My appreciation is also extended to The Lion Staff who worked so diligently to meet the numerous deadlines. I would also like to thank our Inter- collegiate Representative, Mr. Jimmie Roach, for patiently guiding the Staff through this new ex- perience. Cooperation from you, the students and faculty, has also made this 1973 Lion possible. A book cannot tell the whole story of a school year. The Lion Staff has tried to capture the many moments of student life at Booker T. Washington during the 1972-1973 school year.
