And this is the end of the SENIOR CLASS . . . zip .Z FAREWELL Two thousand one hundred sixty days of happiness worry work play and study long busy school days We the class of 57 have spent 2 160 days of the last twelve years un school School days are over now yet before we close the door behind us we hesitate long enough for a backward glance The year us 1945 Eagerly and awkwardly we start the first grade With rump ropes uacks marbles fustfughts and tag the class of 57 progressed through grade school Its 1951 and we are the first class to attend the seventh grade at Bonne ville Junior Hugh We were among the founders of the newly organized District No 93 We worked hard to set hugh standards and to put Bonneville on the map Now 1957 us here and we are seniors ready to leave dear old Bonneville but we will still remember the fun the actuvutues and the studies' For our dance we left the traditional popular song themes and turned to the classics Wuth all of S3 38 we decorated our Freshman Froluc April Showers Pop Corn and Lemonade set the circus scene for the greatest Sophomore Hop ever Remember the thrill as we turned the gym into a dream land supported by four white pillars for our Junior Prom How proud we were as we formed a 57 to the strains of Tonight We Love Can we forget our Senior Ball Moon lught Love 'P The gym was blue and white with a large waterfall un one end We have been to State Baskebtall Tournament initiated Sophomores bought our Senior rings presented assemblies played ball games had parties and dances eaten hot lunches crammed our lockers full of books presented operas and plays laughed and cried and through ut all learned to love BHS We are proud as we graduate proud of our class and proud of our school We bud farewell with sorrow in our hearts As the class of 1957 closes the door we Stand and guv our pledge of honor to Bonneville Hugh School 'x lm U J f 5 mn we 70 'ps S , . , I ' That night we realized this was our last dance. A M , -ff-f ' .afx , I, Z' nf THE STUDENT PRINCE The Student Prince is the life of a Prince who with his friends Dr Engel Lutz and Hubert comes to the University where the Prince is to stay for a year where he is free from formalities of the court Lutz doesnt want the Prince to stay at the Inn but the Prince does He meets the dough ter of the Innkeeper CRuderJ whos name is Kathie and takes a liking to her The students make him a member of the Saxon Corps before they find out he is a Prince His grandfather becomes ill and he has to return His grandfather dies and the Prince is made king and even though Kathie loves him very much and he loves her she gives him up to Princess Margaret by telling him that someone else loves her. Lutz is very surprised to find that Hubert is going to marry Gretchen who buys the inn. There is a ball in Honor of the Princess, where the prince meets the students and friends very formally. Kathie tells him she is going to marry Rudolph, and Prince welcomes the Princess and decides they can be happy together after all.
