He is the person to whom the annual stff has chosen to dedicate this annual. Tom Cohle was horn Illarch 2, 1890, in Cory, Indiana. and remained in this peaceful town all through grade school and high school. llis education continued to the extent of attending the Indiana State Teachers College, the Lewiston State Normal, and the University of Idaho at Illoscow. After teaching in the puhlic schools of Indiana he came to Southern Idaho in ISII5. 'l'he next two years were spent as principal of the school at Alexander, hefore coming to Northern Idaho. Ile has heen very active in education ever since his arrival in the North. XVhen XYorld XYar I came along he took time ol? to serve his country. During World War ll he was employed hy the government. liefore traveling to the ahundant liootenai Valley he was superintendent of Schools of Kootelllll. Idilllo. Since coming to llonners lferry he has heen principal of the North Side Grade School and County Superintendent of I'uhlic Schools. For the last four years Mr. Cohle has heen an instructor in the Ilonners Iferry lligh School, teaching Glohal Geography, 'Iunior and Senior lland, Chorus. and General Mathematics. Ile was married May l5, ISHS! to Iflla Nelson at Soda Springs, Idaho. Ilis three children are Mary Iidith llllrs. Percy Iiurnellj, Keith N., and joan. A more recent addition to the family is. Claudia Ruth, a grandchild.
