Highliglz is During the year there has been three high- lights in the field of social events, all semi- formal dances. The First one was the Senior Ball held Dec. 13 in the high school gymnasium. The theme was Winter VVonderland and it was very attractively decorated with cedar boughs, trees and a false sleigh front for the orchestra. Then came the Junior Prom which was effec- tively and beautifully decorated to the theme of Springtime in the Rockies. The student body elected Bob Spalding and Sally Servoss as King and Queen for the evening. This dance was held in the gym on April 2. On May 1 came the annual May Festival sponsored by the Girls Club. Before the dance Isobel Hyland, the May Queen, was crowned and a program consisting of many dif- ferent dances and ending in the winding of the Maypole was presented. A very successful dance was held afterwards to the music of Martin's orchestra.
