Miss May Brubaker has painted another of those famous pictures of hers. She calls this one Schooldays. New York has been greatly excited over some of Miss Brubaker's paintings in the past. We find Miss Elizabeth McNeil has lately secured a position as school teacher in a little country school in the Ozark Hills. Tom McCullough, noted dealer in all sorts of cars, has put a new model on display. lt is an extremely quaint-looking fashion, resembling a crcss between a Ford and a Pontiac. lt has therefore been named the Fordiac. Mrs. Grant Foote has just broken the old tree-sitting record by sitting for nine, teen days, six hours, twenty-five minutes. and five and one-half seconds in a pear tree in her back yard. Mrs. Foote will be remembered as Ida Watts. The enthusiastic professor, Mr. Robert Keswick, has resigned his position as Philosopher on Etiquette at Harvard College. He will be succeeded by Mr. John Lin- qenfelder, who opened a group of tea shops in Los Angeles last year. Mr. Henr Dale Winthers, lawyer, recently won a case over Mr. Vernon McQueen. famous crime lawyer, Hilario Cachero, Justice of the Peace at San Dimas, declares business is picking up this year. Misses Regina Veiar and Edna Ibanez, two prominent leaders ot the Ladies' Aid Society of a middle western town, have resigned their positions because of a lack of members. Miss Hazel Holbrook, Brethren missionary to Africa, has announced that since August l she has converted twenty Africans in her special revival meetings. Viola Brooks Jochimsen, song writer, has recently published a new song entitled, l Want to Grow Tall Like You. Joaquin Sanchez was last seen drifting on a raft off the coast near Laguna Beach.
