Members of the class participated in many activities including declamation, football, basketball, pep-club, and music. Tom Bruce won first place in humorous at the Hickory stick Declamatory Contest at Gregory. Three Junior boys were on the starting five on the basketball team. They are Kathlenn Daniels, Carole Jons, and Lou Ann Wernke. All the girls are members of the glee club except one. The class was well represented in solo, with Deanna Tietgen and Darrell Young placing second, and Kathleen Daniels placing third.
