CDR Allan Lohr Au' Boss Lohr, a native of Michigan, enlisted in the Navy in June, 1978 for the ROTC program receiving his degree in Civil and commission at the University of Texas in May, 1985. his commissioning, he reported to NAS Pensacola, training and was uwingedv in January 1987. 0 sea assignment was in Helicopter Combat CHC-115 in San Diego, California where lcnightnwhile deployed aboard USS 25 and USS WABASH CAOR 55 as detachment AssistantOfiicer in Charge. Subsequent sea tours Officer in USS BELLEAU WOOD QLHA 31 stationed in Sasebo Japan and at HC-11 as Department Head and Detachment OIC' aboard USS PELELIU QLHA 51. Shore tours included duty as a flight linstructorifat CHC-16 flying the UH-1N Huey,' in Pensacola, Department Head and H-46flight instructor at HC-3 in San Diego, and as Chief Staff Officer, Helicopter Tactical Wing, Pacific Fleet. ,Lol1E,rGported to Tactical Air Control Squadron as Eltecutive Officeriin October 2001 and deployed With Squadron FIVE embarked in USS BELLEAU WOOD CLHA 39 as Detachment OIC. He assumed Command of the squadron in March 2003 and led the 4'Dirigimi,, until June 2004 when 116 reported for duty aboard USS BONHOMME RICHARD QLHD 6l 35 Air Boss. Commander Lohr's personal awards include the Meritorious ServiC6 Medal with gold star, Navy Commendation Medal with three gold stars, and the Navy Achievement Medal.
