After a highhz success- ful recruiting tour, Master Chief Vasquez reported to USS MISSOURI CBB 63l where he served as Leading Chief Petgf .f Officer, Missiles Division, seeing duty in the Arabian Gulf during DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM. Seeing USS MISSOURI through decommissioning, he then served as Senior Instructor at Fleet Combat Training Center, Pacific at Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems C School, qualibfing as a Master Training Specialist. In I994, he was promoted to Master Chief Petgf Officer and reported to pre-commissioning detachment USS BENFOLD QDDG 652 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, as Leading Chief Petly Officer, Combat Systems Department. In September I997, he reported to USS ESSEX ILHD Zl, as Leading Chief Petgf Officer, C4 Department and Command Master Chief. ln December 2000, he reported onboard USS BOXER ILHD 4l as Command Master Chief. He is currenthf assigned as Command Master Chief, Amphibious Group THREE and Expeditionary Strike Group FIVE. Master Chief Vasquez' awards include Meritorious Service Medal Itwo awardsl, Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat V Ithree avvardsl, Nargf Marine Corps Achievement Medal ffive awardsl, and various campaign unit awards. 19

Upon graduating from Manheim Central High School, Bullock entered recruit training at Parris lsland, South Carolina, in lune of I976. After competing recruit training, PFC Bullock was ordered to report to Infantry Training School at Camp Pendleton, California to receive training as an 033i lmachine gunnerj. in November of I976 PFC Bullock was assigned to Marine Bullock served WZS gk Proving Grounds, tour in lapan, he was San Diego SSgt Bullock I3 training cycles serving as a Drill Senior Drill instructor, and Chief Drill instructor. Upon completion, GySgt Bullock was reassigned to lst Force Service Support Group, Camp California were he served as a Platoon Sergeant for Maintenance Company. CrySgt Bullock made a second lateral move to 024l limagenr interpreteri in May l990, and reported to Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, California for training with the 3rd Force Imagenf Interpretation Unit. After six months of on-the-job-training, he transferred to Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas. After imagery School, he transferred back to 3rd FllU, where he served as a Production Chief. ln lanuaiy of l992, GySgt Bullock attended the MAGTF Advanced intelligence Course held at Damneck, Virginia where he graduated with top honors. He returned to El Toro and was reassigned to VMFA lAWi-242, where he held billets as Photo Reconnaissance Chief and Squadron Gunnery Sergeant. ln january of I994, GySgt Bullock attended the Advanced Career Course and graduated second in his class. ln October of I994, he was transferred to Atlantic Intelligence command, Norfolk, Virginia. While there, he served as the Noncombatant Evacuation Operations Chief. GySgt Bullock was selected for First Sergeant in March of I995 and transferred to MCRD San Diego, where he served as the company first sergeant for Company E, Second Recruit Training Battalion. He was selected for Sergeant Major in Februanf of i998 and transferred to Recruiting Station, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in September of i998 where he served at the Recruit Station Sergeant Major. ln lune of 200I SgtMaj Bullock was transferred to Marine Corps Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where he served as the Detachment Sergeant Major. ln luhf 2003 SgtMaj Bullock was transferred to Camp Pendleton, California where he is currenthf serving as the Fifteenth Marine Expeditionary Unit Sergeant Major. SgtMaj Bullock's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with two gold stars, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with three gold stars, Army Commendation Medal, Naxgf and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with three gold stars, loint Service Achievement Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal. qkrffligzr
