He enlisted into the Navy after graduating from Eranlclinton High School in 1983. After graduation from Boot Camp and YN AH school, he reported to his fifSf ship, the USS SPIEGEL GROVE CLSD 321, homeported at Naval AmphibiOL1S Base, Little Creek, Virginia.
