sax ING QFPTCEEB. CAPTAIN STANLEY V DE GEUS Captain Stanley Vincent De Geus is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a 1979 graduate of Villanova University. At Villanova, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and was commissioned an Ensign through the Naval Reserve 1 Officer Training Corps Program. Following commissioning, Captain De Geus completed Division Officer tours as Administrative Officer, Second Division Officer and Combat Information Center!Missile Officer in USS SEATTLE 5 CAOE 33 from November 1979 to May 1983. His first A shore assignment was Commissioning Crew and Navigation!NavalOperations Instructor at the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Boston University. While at Boston University, he received his Master's Degree in biologyfin January 1986. afloat duty in USS 1986 to Novem- ,ln USS ENHANCE operations served as Operations QFFG 373 from June 1989. Captain De Geus served as Commanding Officer in USS CMCM 43 from May 1990 to September 1992. Bergf, Johnsen graduated from Ohio State University and was commissioned in December 1978. He completed flight training and was designated an S unrestricted Naval Aviator in August 1980. His first tour was Naval Air Station Meridian, Mississippi in December 1980, where he flew Search and Rescue!Air Station pilot duties in the UH-1N and C-lA. He also served as the Station Photo and Quality Assurance Officer in the Captain Berg-Johnsen reported to Squadron Light CHSLJ 37, NAS Barbers Point, following transition tothe SH-ZF. HSL-37 Detachment FIVE, in Uss, November 1983 to July 1984 also Officer and in July the LAMPS MK III and Test Evaluation. reported to HSL-47, NAS held the Safety Officer and Operations as OIC of HSL-47 Detachment EIGHT, and CCG 595 during Operation Desert Shield and March 1992 he reported to the Bureau of Naval Personnel as Manpower Analysis Section. Following his tour at BUPERS, the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island and graduated V, 1994 with a Masters Degree in National Security and Strategic Berg-Johnsen reported to HSL-51, in January 1995 and assumed-command ofthe Famous in April 1996.
