The Lettermen's Club was organized during January of 1975 by Mr. Kinni- kin and Mr. Bernard to provide Var- sity athletics with an organization from which they could provide some leadership for Bolingbrook High. At the time of the club's beginning there were no clubs or groups actively operating and they were the first to hold a series of dances and sockhops after athletical events. Numerous fund raising events have provided the club with a treasury that enables them to enjoy some social activities Free of charge or at greatly reduced prices, such as trips to the Michigan Dunes, Field trips, gym jamfpizza nights, and several others. John Do- manico was the first president and since that time the president's duties have been adminstered by an execu- tive committee. This '75-'76 Exe- cutive committee was Ken Delegan, Mike Meyer, and Greg Domanico. The club has done several things for B. H. S. , some of which are the base- ball scoreboard, painting the weight room, purchasing career statistical charts for the trophy case, provided school T-shirts and jackets to the student body at reduced prices, a pop machine in the boys P. E. locker room, and a newsletter to all club alumni to keep them up on current events and people still in school. These are but a few of the things the club has tried to do while always thinking that B. H. S. can even be better with some hard work, pride, and respect Q ' ' - f . Q 4 .
