I Several times a month, an assembly provided a welcorzie interruption in classtime routine. Members of the expression classes presented a novel pep assembly before the Thanksgiving football game, and in a more serious vein the Armistice Day Assembly. Qther assemblies planned by the student body included the choir's Christmas assembly: the sophomore, junior, and senior assemblies, and the award assemblies. The Christians, who lectured on the River of No Return, appeared on the National Assemblies program, as well as two musical groups, the Kilties and the Volga Troubadours. Une of the last and most important perform- ances of the year was that of the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra.
