affliez The photographers took the pictures, the pictures were mounted with precision and care, the mounted pages were shipped to the west coast tor engraving, and these returned tor the approval of the stait. All the printed material was proofread twice and the names checked against the high school tiles. Because ot defense priorities on metal and glossy paper it is probable that no school annuals will be printed for the duration ot the war. For this reason, we, the Courier Statt of 1942, have tried to make this book one which you will be proud to own and keep. But the staff didn't do all ot it. Each and every student has had a part in the making ot the Courier. You may be the student jumping the hurdles on the sports page, or one ot the members in the Science Club picture. You, wherever your picture may be, are a part of this Courier and that which it symbolizes -Boise High School. So here is the 1942 Courier. Read it, sign it, and thoroughly enjoy it now and in the years to come. Sincerely, THE COURIER STAFF.
