H010 ecy Kwai Q 4 Fx 1 Q9 39 ' Our last class party. As we sit around the fire, our minds begin to wonder what A ' ' x our class mates will be doing in a few years. As we watch the smoke rise, we imagine f we are driving through the country-side. 7 'QQ 1 'OSH As we drive through the country-side, we see John Walters, Dale Casto and Ed- dead Q ward Miller, neighboring farmers, who are harvesting the fall crops. Farther down the ' road housewives, Catherine Weibner and Mary Wolf, while hanging their weekly wash, - are talking about their children. lx Upon entering a city, we stop at a Service Station and diner owned by William Tanger. Inside the diner. waitress, Ella Riggleman, is serving truck driver, Cyrus Stei- gelman. A few blocks away is the city hospital where Doctor Peter Sharp and his nurse, 'A Jeanette Miller, are preparing for surgery. On the second floor we see nurses, Geraldine 0 Keck and Shirley Bagrosky. As we continue driving through the city, we pass a business building where Robert I K Coyle and Lynn Negley are in conference with electrical engineer, Milton Jacoby, about future work. In the outer office secretaries Patty Gulden and Faye Haskell are busy. A- cross the hall is the office of a construction company operated by Barry Dasher and Fred Hummel whose secretaries, Mary Alice Murray and Delores Rynard, are preparing to leave for the morning coffee break. Passing a Beauty Salon owned by Jane Comp and Ina Heller, we hear Joyce Howe and Donna Matthews, who are waiting to have their hair done. discussing Shirley Stover, their children's kindergarten teacher, who will be leaving in the fall for a position in Germany. A little farther down the street we see housewives, Addanell Woods, Glae Stump and Patsy Saphore, entering the office of Nancy Finkey, now a famous interior decorator. As we turn down the next street, we pass the high school where dietitians, June Brandt and Marie McKinney, are putting on a demonstration for Doris Kinkaid's home economics students. Planning the activities for the school's open house are Nancy Wise, Music teacher, Arlene Hammann, Physical Education lnstructorg and Martha Waggoner, English teacher. ln the next block in one of the more popular restaurants owned by Wayne Trostle, we find secretaries Colleen Clark, Shirley Darhower, Caroline Waggoner and Faye Yeingst making plans for the annual secretaries' banquet. Across the street in the barber shop of Carl Nelson are Robert Weiss, Chemical engineer, and John Sherman, Marine Officer. On the edge of the city is Ben Moyer 's Used Car Lot, and Donald Kuntz, a successful factory worker, is there buying a car. As we again enter the country, we turn on the radio in time to hear the daily sport broadcast. The Brooklyn Dodgers are again favored to win the National League Pennant because of the return of thirty game winner Leroy Bream and power hitting short stop Millard Ilgenfrltz from the Armed forces. Charles Delp, who broke the football record for the number of completed passes last year, has just signed his new contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Local athlete, James Baker, has qualified for the Olympic game this year in discus competition. As we near the farms of Donald Barnhart and Richard Murtoff, we find Mervln Shughart, soil conservationist, helping them solve their farming problems. As the embers of the fire grow dimmer and our imaginations cease to function, the world of make-believe vanishes. We begin to wonder just how many facts we have foreseen concerning the future of our classmates. Z5
