Their predictions were based on the fact that only thirteen lettermen were returning from the '72 season which ended 4-6. This inexperience, plus many injuries to key players, added up to a l-9 season for the Pirates. The lone win came at Homecoming against Lakewood, which has yet to win a football game against Bogie. Despite the presence of many Juniors and Soph- omores, Bogie played well in many games against more experienced teams.
