SUE KANOS is presented the Choral Music Award. SENIOR CLASS President, Andy Zembower, pre- sents next year's Senior Class President, Fred Da- vis, with the class key. FRANK D'APOLlTO is given the first annual George Brownlee Memo- rial Scholarship in mem- ory of former B.H.S. stu- dent and athlete George Brownlee presented by Brownlee's friend, Rob Zellers. The award is giv- en to an outstanding B.H.S. student who dis- plays some of the quali- ties that George stood for. MARK SHUTRUMP re- ceives an award from Speech Coach Mr. Ron Stefancic for the best four year accumulative score in speech competi- tion. CQQDB WENQEWENTI' The fifty-sixth Boardman High School commencement saw the largest graduating class in the history of the school. The six hundred thirteen seniors were led by junior marshalls Diana Belsan and Kathy Kowal into the gymnasium. Each senior girl carried the class flower, a daisy.'The invocation was given by the Reverend John Ashton, followed by the address by the Reverend Norman E. Crewson, who spoke on lt's Later Than lt's Ever Been Before.
