Vocal Music Department Provided Enjoyable Times Contests proved to be very nerve-racking, but all turned out well for the Mixed Chorus when they received a lI+ at State Con- test. The Girls' Glee also sang on to accept a H while Boys' Glee ended up with a III. But it all seemed worth the effort as the Bnal singing faded. Besides, forty-five minutes of happy care- free singing can do wonders for an overburdened student. During the year the extra mo- ments that greeted BHS singers during the school day, and even after school, became prized mo- ments. Spring Festival and per- forming for the grade schools in 1' the area became parts of those prized moments to treasure.
