Peggy, Gene Elected 72-73 Sports Royalty Peggy QAdesy Kingsley was crown- ed first annual All sports Queen by King Gene Calvin on a night to re- member, March 31, 1973. He was a member of the football and bas- ketball team and was elected cap- tain of both squads. Peggy's attendants were Ava Allen and Debbie Petersen. Ava was basketball princess. As a jtmior she has worked hard as a cheerlead- er and as a member of FHA, She also participated in vocal music and speech competition. Her es- cort, Joe Wonser, was an active senior football and basketball ath- lete, Debbie Petersen, a junior, reigned as Football princess. She was State Vice-President of Mem- bership for FHA, a cheerleader, and also entered a speech in con- test. Wrestlers Selected Peggy for Princess Peggy Ades, a senior, was crowned 1973 Wrestling Princess to the theme of On Top of the World during the Cottonwood Falls match January 18, David Winzer, captain of the Wrestling Team, presented her with the crown and a bouquet of yellow and white daisies. Her attendants were Connie Allmond, a senior, who was escorted by David Stevenson, and Cathy Scovell, escorted by Loren Jack. The girls were presented corsages of white daisies and charms as a memento of the spe- cial occasion.
