SENIOR CLASS PLAY The Senior Class Play this year was a comedy entitled The Adorable Imp . Theresa Williams, who played a roguish seventeen- year old Betty Lou Gordon, had to act eleven years old to give her mother's romance a helping hand. Pamela Gordon, the mother played by Gwendolyn Beaty, was a pretty widow who told a wealthy admirer that she was only twenty-nine! Complications arose when two old beaus played by Hugh Gardner and Earl Morrison, one of mother's and one of grandmother's Ruth Henderson, arrive and act as a butler and cook to break up the new romances between Pamela and Dilworth Pickrell, Reginald Parr. To further complicate matters, Betty Lou falls in love with Ross Waldon, Roland Thorne, a cousin of Dilworth's who is already engaged to Winston's snooty ward, Miria.m Wilkinson. Two other outstanding characters were Margaret jewel Morrison as the doleful daughter of Pam's old beau and Rosie Lee Strickland, the bucolic maid whose side splitting remarks left the audience in stitches. The Senior Class appreciated the assistance given by Charlotte Scarborough, Sylvia Pitts, Floyd Ryals, Mrs. Sibert, and the Home Economic s Department. Most Popular . . Most Studious . .
