Twelve girls are having a year's experience as student assistants in the school library. These girls help the school librarian by keeping the library open during the break and at noon, by aiding students in finding library materials, and by checking books at the desk. Students serving as library assistants during the year 1957-58 are: Jeanne Clements, Mildred Peacock, Mary Ann Martin, Frances Price, Helen Pope, Lorraine Fields, Dorothy McCrone, Greer Clemmons, Jud ' Perkins y . Betty Kearce, Betty Hand, and Sandra Halley. Mrs. Lois Musgrove, school librarian, supervises the work of these students.
