Nancy Pridgeon, Joan Parker, Marcia Ann Redd, Sylvia Peacock, Joyce Yon, and Sandra Eldridge are selected to attend the Homecoming queen. . . Homecoming 154- 755 Blountstown Public School's '54-'55 Homecoming opened with an Alumni dinner Thursday, October 14. Alumnus Wallace Finlay was guest-speaker. 108 alumni and guests attended. I. Frank Morris, McClenny, Florida, came the farthest distance, the class of '43 had the largest representation. At ll a. m. , Friday, October 15, Frances Ayers, class of '55, was crowned Homecoming queen by football captain Johnny Rooks, during a general assembly in the gymnasium. The afternoon parade consisted of 25 floats, the band, cheerleaders, school patrol, and Brownie Scouts. The senior float won first place for beauty, the Juniors and the first grade tied for originality. Homecoming festivities officially ended with Blountstown's Tigers defeating Crawfordville 24-0. I8
