Appropriately located in the center of campus is the Kehr Gnion Building. It is here that everyone — students, professors, and employees — gathers to discuss the latest happenings and arrange future plans. Some of the future events just may include an exam or two, so many students find the Presidents ' Lounge, Coffeehouse, and Snack Bar excellent places to study. Still others go to the Union to get av ay from studying. They seek the refuge of the Games ' Room, TV lounges, or bowling alleys. Some find relaxation just looking at one of the many exhibits found in the Gnion. And still others look in the Union for vital services. The information desk stands ready to serve — ready to give answers, phone numbers, newspapers and maga- 20 zines, playing cards, and racquetball court reservations. If you ' re not ready to serve try going a few more steps to the student health center. What, you say you can ' t af- ford to be sick? Visit the student bank, de spite the long lines it was a welcomed con- venience. But if you prefer to get away from it all try the Ride Board, Kehr Union Travel Agency, Quest, or get lost in the activities of an organization — even if their office doesn ' t happen to be in the Union you can bet their meeting probably will be. It doesn ' t matter when you ' re in the Union, rest assured that you will find an atmo- sphere that fits your needs. The KUB is definitely the activity center for the cam- pus.

Supply Center College Store If you want to sell your old books, buy a new Bloomsburg University sweatshirt, or simply browse through the magazine racks, the College Store is the place to go. Of course, the Store is busiest the first few weeks of the semester — the aisles teeming with people purchasing textbooks, note- books, and other supplies eagerly anticipat- ing the months ahead. Texts are not the only merchandise han- dled. The small grocery section, the Surviv- al Center, is stocked full of basic necessities for hungry studiers, while a wide selection of plaques, posters and novelties can be purchased to enhance any dreary dorm room. The Store also carries paperbacks, magazines, newspapers and a wide variety of greeting cards. This year the College Store did many stu- dents a great service by drastically reduc- ing the prices on BSC clothing. This made it possible for many students to become col- lectors of a never to be repeated clothes line — the BSC apparel. It also allowed the Store to make room for the newest fashions — the BCI line. 22
