Iesse Stephens, end on the Red and White eleven, dropped on one of these blocked kicks at the same time a Nescopeck player did, but the decision gave Blooms- burg two points. Bloom enjoyed a slim 2-O lead at the half time. Both teams scored a touchdown in the last twenty-four minutes of play and the game ended 8-6 in favor of Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg entertained Scranton Tech the following week. This game was one of the hardest and most spectacular of the season. Scranton outweighed Bloom twenty pounds per man, but this meant little to the Bloom team The first half was battled on even terms with many long runs featuring the game Finally by superior weight alone the up river team scored its lone touchdown and converted the extra point The game ended 7 O in favor of Scranton Milton was the B H S opponent the next week The North Branch school boasted a veteran eleven last season and had reserves to back it p In the first few minutes it looked bad for Bloomsburg as Milton ran three plavs and scored a touchdown in short order Bloomsburg came back however and scored one also In the second half Bloom scored another touchdown and then settled down to protect nts lead of 13 6 Miltons backfield ace ohnson was bottled during the entire lim I t li NX iltcr lxothtr Iugcm 'litus luck Cipplc Ccrild lxnouse Llarcn 1 Lrilmtru. jmck Higgins Qlirk lxrcishtr H lruld Xclu irk urx Chis Stuin I xis Kr hir lrll lrihtrcc Janus Dor x rd Rom Xlr Xlordin Shumm lxoidirmcl Xl truss P1111 lloonc Tom I-irrcll ink lrcd lwrrcll Dun lirton Hirrx Snxder Russell liuus llrll Slusser r Schell S142 - , , U . .
