At press time they are 1O'3, tied for the lead with ,Palm Springs. Sparkling this season for the team were .Seniors Kevin Newborn, Dave Day, Russ Caney, lim Dunlap, Ruben Sandoval, Greg Looper, Mikelsivingston, Jerry Sanchez, Mal' colm White, Ronald Lewis, and Larry Jordan. Sharing the pitching dutiw this year with Dave Day was Tim Bealer. Tim made a fine showing and gained much needed experience yvhile throwing against many formidable league oes. The ,SAL was awarded two CIF berths, and the Bruins hope to occupy one of these. We on the staff extend our hands to Coach Don Lee and every player on the 1973 Varsity Baseball team.
