Praise, and Have a Little Patience . . . . Cross Age Teaching Really Works The program of crossfage teaching has been around in 'the school for many, many years, but, it has only been recently that students at Bloomington have been transport' ed to the local elementary schools as aides. Crossfage is a class instructed by Mrs. Verna Wheaton, but the actual teaching isleft to the students of the class. They work with the youngsters, help the children to read, write, and even play with them if time or need permits. The teaching is relaxed. There isn't any of the pressures existing Where the stu' dent must hurry. It shouldn't have to be that way . . . education should be fun, and the teacher's aides are realizing that immediately.
