Pace-Settin tudents Combine Studies, Pressures increased as more and more graduates planned to attend college, and the scholar was given even more recognition than is traditional. Wanda Corzine, a straight A student for four years, topped the list of academic honors and awards. Initiating another first, student council members named Gary Lehr as the school's pep commissioner. They also overpowered other classes in the Hairy Legs Contest when their representative, Terry Stacke, was named the winner. The Student Body donated money .to Girls' League for their adopted child, and each penny counted as one vote. Terry was also tagged as the first Boy' offthefMonth.
