FOTQWOVJ ln this, the l95l issue of the yearbook, the Aepix Staff wishes to bring to the students and the faculty the happenings of a typical Bloomington High School year. This year we are using Progress as our theme. We have recently had the privilege of celebrating the centennial of our city and we wish to show a little of the headway which has been made. We think it appropriate to represent our theme as a wheel consisting of many spokes that extend in all directions. These spokes point out the sun, the stars, the earth, and people everywhere, all doing their parts, be they large or small, toward the further ad- vancement of the world. This wheel cannot be kept still and as it rotates, each member of the student body will continue to add his or her daily, weekly, and yearly achievements to Progress. With the many outstanding achievements in the fields of science, agriculture, and industry, and with great improvements in ed- ucational facilities, progress has left its mark.
