Parliamentary Procedure. STUDE COUNCIL Our Student Council originates from an election held at the beginning of the school year. The First meeting or so is held to assign committees and get the group in order. When this is done, the president, with the help of the advisers, presents a project to be worked on and completed by the end of school. This years project is revising the now outmoded handbook. The Councils Hrst tasl-c is starting the canteen at Westinghtiuse. They sell the tickets and set up a committee to see that the canteen is run properly. Near the end of the football season the Football Queen dance is run. ln it the Queen for that season is frowned. The prohts from the tlance go to pay for all lfifl Fun at the Football Dance the pairl assemblies. Sometime at the begin- ning of spring the Council runs a carnival. In April of this year the Spring Dig opened for si night. Our Council ran the variety show part of ir 'Iliff proceeds go to pay for the rf-visefl hzinrllmoolc.
