CLARENCE HERMAN SMITH excelled m playlng basketball He dzd outstandmg playing for four years He was a member of the B Club and FFA We all knew him as Cuckle He was a quret guy unt1l you got to know lum He plans to work rn Mrchigan after graduation DOTTIE JEAN SMITH was a very cute cheerleader wrth pretty blonde han Dott1e belreved rn the old saymg To have fnends be one and that she did Dotue was the krnd of person that was wrllmg to help rn any way possrble She was Semor class and assrstant sports reporter for the Echo but when ever the editor needed other artrcles wntten all she had to do was tell Dotue and Dottle wrote them for her She was a member of the Speech Club Press Club FHA and B Club She served on the Student Councrl ln 52 53 Beacon Staff tn 53 54 Four years Dottre played for our class ID the Class Toumament and she was rn two plays: the Jumor play and the Senior class play MARGARET SUE SMITH was a sweet pretty and fneudly girl with very black han and beautiful blue eyes She was a very popular g1rl as well as intelligent and enthusrasttc She was a member of the Glee Club Speech Club and Press Club m 50 53 and FHA 50 54 She starred m three plays presented at BCHS Speech Club play rn 51 52 Jumor class play and the Semor play rn whrch she of Speech Club in 52 53 and was an offrce assrstant rn 54 Sue played 1n the Class Tournament four years and she was class candrdate for Horse Show Queen rn 53 She also worked mdustnously on the Beacon staff this year PATSY GAIL SMITH was an attractrve blonde wrth very courteous manners She was a fnend to all no matter who they were She played the role of Mrs Foster rn the Semor class play and was also rn the Junlor play She was a member of the Glee Club Press Club Speech Club B Club and Beta Club She recerved the Beta Award th1s year Patsy played in the Class Toumament one year was on the hrgh school team one year and was manager for two years She was an offrce asststant and was on the Beacon staff in 54 Patsy plans to contmue her educatron in Secretanal Sclence RANDAL SMITH was one of the bright lrghts of our class Always makmg others happy by hrs cute remarks and sweet personality Ran as we all knew him was a member of the basketball squad 1n 50 51 He belonged to the B Club two years and the FFA one year He was Vrce Presrdent of the Junror class JOHNNY STANDEFER was known and liked by all He was always doing good deeds and trymg to be of service to everycne He was one who understood wrth sympathy all of your problems and tried hrs best to help solve them Johnny played in the Class Toumament three years and was on the football team for two years He was a member of the FFA and B Club and was one of the stage crew for the Semor play LEONARD STANDEFER was an angel at heart and would help anyone ln any way that he could Belreved strongly in upholding t11e right I-le belonged to the FFA for four years and played FFA basket ball in 52 When he was a Freshman he was in the Glee Club operetta Pirates of Penzance H helped destgn and bu1ld the stage settxng for the Semor play A Date With Judy IEWELL SULLIVAN entered our class in the year of 53 This was her first year as a member of our class. She has long hair and is a very fair complected girl She hailed from Summer City where she was a BTY member Her favorite subject was history FRANCES YVONNE SUTHERLAND was the sports typist for the Echo She was a very dependable worker She was a member of the FHA Press Club Speech Club Spanish Club and Beta Club She played on the Class Tournament tn 53 and served on the Beacon staff and Student Council in 54 played the role of Judy in A Date With Judy.
