Finished, finally. Through much hard work and many sleepless hours the cruisebook and the deployment are finished. Underway about 85 percent of the time, BLAKELY excelled at everything she did, a tribute to the professionalism and maturity of her crew. The cruisebook staff is a cross-section of that same crew with the same credentials: professional, mature, dedicated. Without these people there would be no book. Many thanks go to MM3 BOB HORNBACK and SN ROBERT WILLIAMSON who worked so hard on the layouts. Photos were obtained through crew contributions, especially LT VINCE WASHINGTON, LTjg DAVE FLEENOR, LTjg WYLIE CAVIN, GMG2 WALTER ALEXANDER, GMG3 ERNIE COWELL, FTG3 JOHN SNYDER, MA1 DOUG DAVID, LTjg RICK STORREY, SN SERGIO RIVERA, SN WILLIAMSON, and the CO and XO.
