V MXHLH m,,.wv,d..., IVX, ,L.. Y -1 51.9. A 1966 graduate of the Naval Academy, CDR Tom H. Reynolds, Jr., served his first sea tour aboard USS NEWPORT NEWS QCA-1481 as Fox Division Officer. Following completion of the course of instruction at the Destroyer School with Class 21, he served as Operations Officer on USS KEPPLER IDD-7651, homeported out of Newport and Pearl Harbor, from 1968 to 1970. CDR Reynolds next served as Aide and Flag Lieutenant to COMCRUDESFLOT SIX, Rear Admirals Crutch- field and Tidd, and made one deployment to SIXTH Fleet in that capacity. In 1972, CDR Reynolds attended the Naval Post-graduate School at Monterey and earned a Master of Science Degree in Management. He was then assigned tothe Precommissioning unit of USS KALAMAZOO QAOR-61 and after commissioning served as Operations Officer from 1973 to 1974. For the nexttwo-and-a-half years he was assigned to the faculty of the Behavioral Science Dept. at the Naval Academy. During his last semes- ter at the Naval Academy he served as Executive Assistant to the Director of the Division of Professional Development. He re- turned to sea as Opera- tions Officer aboard USS FOX QCG-331 from September 1977 to August 1979 and reported to USS BLA- KELY QFF-10721 for duty as Executive Of- Executive Officer T. H. Reynolds, Jr. CDR, USN ficer in December 1979.
