We. the Class of 1978. dedicate this yearbook to Mr. lvlario J. Creany in recognition for all that he has done for us and our school district. In his 32 years of service to Nanty Glo and to the schools of Nanty Glo and surrounding communities. Mr. Creany has provided the citizens with two exceptionally fine educational facilities through his diligent guid- ance. ln September of 1969. our hew high school building was opened. Since then. its curriculum. as well as its equipment have been updated. making the students of the valley able to compete very adequately with stu- dents in other areas of Pennsylvania. This was also made possible by the help of Mr. Creany. Active in many civic and social organizations. Mr. Creany has greatly contributed to his community and his fellow citizens. Again. we wish to thank Mr. Creany.

LET US LOOK TO WARD THE FUTURE WITH OPEN EYES AND EA GER MINDS WHICH OUR SCHOOL YEARS HA VE PREPARED US FOR. GETTINGANEDUCA TION MEANS MUCH IN OUR MODERN SOCIETY WE ARE GRA TEFUL FOR OUR PARENTS, TEA CHERS AND FRIENDS WHO HELPED US GET THA TEDUCA TION FOR OUR FUTURE YEARS.
