Class Poem 'lf- We're the class of "62," We all say "so-long" to you. Before we start to roam, We leave you with this poem. I Bob Allen doesn't have much to si-ay. But in the hall get out of his way- For when Linda 'he's chasing, Don't be in his pathway pacing. Gail Britt, a real smart lass, Is at the head of business class. Whenever there's work to be done Count on Gail as number one. Tom Brooks is a talkative soul, To be a lawyer is his goal. He has an opinion on all the news And never fails to tell his views. I Eldon Barone drives a fast car, 4 I Janice Ballou is the quiet type, You never do hear this girl gripe I Ken Byrd likes to tinker with cars, Mention a Chevy - his eyes are stars, l To English class he will gaily bound, In arf. this gaps got what it takes' b Where reading Motor Trend he's found Everyone praises the drawings she makes. l ' l l Don Channel has the nickname "Red," His sense of humor is far from dead. While "goofing off" in his home room, The teacher gives him looks of doom. Louise Baker is quite Cute, At her the horns do toot. When she is walking down the hall, l She is admired by one and au' "Enos" is Gene C1ifford's nickname, Basketball has won nim fame. This guy is clever, agile, and tall, In his Chevy he travels afar. He knows just how to handle the ball His ambition is to succeed, May his success match his speed. y Mary Cowhick quiet and petite, Everyone thinks she is sweet. Our Homemaker of Tomorrow is she, . . dl , I . Jerry Bauer IS a fmen y guy And a beautician she wants to be. He is rated really high. Bowling is his favorite pastime, And his scores are quite sublime. I Dick Crebs is a real brain, For him Physics is no strain. Manager of the Black River Post, Everyone thinks that he's the most. I. Next comes friendly Carol Blake, Who makes the most delicious cake. This gal likes to joke and laugh, She worked hard with the Echo staff. l Carnetta Blankenship's the name, She has hair that's as bright as flame. Always dressed in latest styles, This cute girl wins many smiles. Joan Dague has a real neat form, Her friendship is so very warm, Quiet though she often is, In shorthand she is a real whizz. I Suzy Boone's sharp, pink T-bird, Gets her around quite fast, we've heard. Suzy's always lots of fun, Janet Dalgleish is a sweet little thing, As Homecoming Queen she really did swing Whatever she does she'll be a success, The heart of each of us she's won. Jim Botdorf is our class president, He really is the nicest gent. When it comes to leadership, This Botdorf guy is really hep. l' Robert Breyley wants to please, Every single one he sees. In F.F.A, he's always there, Trying his best to do his share. Donald Britt, is very quiet, Sometimes he's a real riot. He thinks government class is neat, Because he likes to go to sleep. I C Because of her genuine friendliness. Cheryl Elliott is a busy bee, She's always on a new committee. When Seniors have a rough job planned Cheerfully Cheryl lends a willing hand Carol Foster's a real cute chick, We all think she's pretty slick. She drives to school in her Ford which, Quite often she gets into the ditch. Ted Fetzer is a busy man, Gives F.F.A. a helping hand, And when to Buckeye he does go, He takes his best girl to the show. In class her rating is quite high, And when you meet her, you'll know why. 0 Margaret Geiger is petite, To her classmates she is sweet. She succeeds in every try, And she has found that special guy. James Given is a quiet lad, Who really doesn't do so bad. During school he walks around, And often doesn't make a sound. I Jim Gott is next in line, Linda thinks he's just fine. In sports he's been a star, We all think that he'll go far. I Jack Grissinger is known to all, For his plays in basketball. Though he's short and far from big, This great guy we all dig. I Phyllis Haines comes next you see, A nurse she thought she'd like to be. Along came a flyer to change her desire, But two years of college she'll acquire. I Here's a girl that you have seen, To all she's known as Ernestine. To be a secretary is her aim, We hope her fingers don't go lame. 1 Margaret Harris is quite a gal, To everyone she is a pal. She's friendly and she's clever, too, Beware of tricks she'll play on you. l Carole Hawley of the cheerleading squad, The path of success she has certainly trod. After school she has her plans, To cook for Dick in pots and pans. Bill Herrmann wants to fly, A jet or rocket through the sky. In trig he is a whiz, Such a smart student this guy is. l Andy Higgins is very smart, At homework he really does his part, But don't you think that he's dull, Because his wisecracks are far from null. Lena Hollandsworth from down Sullivan way, Doesn't usually have much to say. Although in height she is quite small, Her friendly smile is nicest of all. I- ' 1 ll.-- ,. .- . V-'Y 1- Diane Hopkins in. Business Law, Is the best student you ever saw. This gal works with speed and ease, The teachers she is sure to please. Jean Hopkins with hair so light, Says "Hi" to all those in sight. Quiet and nice in all her ways. We'll remember her the rest of our days. Liz Jenkins has a mind so keen, Success for her we've forseen. When this cute gal is a nurse someday All the doctors will look her way. His knowledge is really steep, You know him well, he is Jeff Keep. On to college to gain his ambition, Results to be a licensed physician George Kish is a happy lad, , You can be sure he's never sad. This year's president of F.F.A,, A successful guy, wou1dn't you say? Joe Kobylski in history room, Is often sprayed with perfume. This guy is fun to have around, He's loads of laughs so we've found. Ted Kostecki is tall and slim, You must look twice to see all of him, The car he owns is a small foreign job But i nside he'll haul quite a mob. , Irene Kozub is a girl and a half, She works on the newspaper staff, Through all the day she's on the go, She'll make sure the Post isn't slow. Judy Kurtz is quiet and polite, Her wavy black hair is a pretty sight. This nice gal is right in style, As along she strolls wearing a smile. Roy Leininger, who drives his dad's Ar, Tries to keep the engine up to par. And when he gets behind the wheel, He never drags or tries to peel! Richard McConnell is a rather tall guy, Who seems quiet and sometimes shy. He has a certain kind of trait, And that's how to keep his hair straight. Tom McFredrick owns a blue chevy, His accelerator foot gets quite heavy. At the drag strip he's often found, Even though he's college bound.
