Keene Assumes V.P. Office tm Dr. Robert Keene was named Vice Presi- dent of Academic Affairs by the Black Hawk College Board on January 12, succeeding Dr. Roscoe D. Kelley, who resigned October 14. Dr. Kelley accepted a position as chief ad- ministrator of the Somerset Community Col- lege in Somerset, Kentucky. At Black Hawk College he held the positions of Director of Admissions, Dean of the Evening College, Di- rector of Institutional Research, and Academic Dean. Dr. Keene was an educational consultant and director of the community college study for Wayne County, Michigan. Doctor Keene was also a part time instructor at Wayne State University. and he began his duties at Black Hawk College in the beginning of February. Dr. Keene commented on the new position saying, l'm looking forward to the challenge here at Black Hawk and to be associated with the ex- pansion of the college --both the academic and the technical-vocational programs of the col- lege and the development of the new campus.
