Outside Activities Students participate in many activities outside of O,Dowd. They hold jobs, play sports, play musical instruments, or do volunteer work. It is often common to see O,Dowd students outside school as they participate in these activities. Many students workin Montclair, Berkeley, and San Leandro. Others volunteer at shelters and after school programs, tutoring students. Still others take instrumental lessons and participate in orchestras and bands. It is often difficult for students to find the time to do these activities because of a heavy course load at school, but they make the time anyway.
