The Freshman chose as their Spirit Week theme Freshman 4077. As one walked down their desig- nated hallway, one received a full sense of the army. There were wounded sol- diers lying in the halls, para- chutes hanging from the tree'tops, people in army uniforms, and much other memorabilia from the Kore- an War. Spirit Weeek was that time of year when the whole O'Dowd Kingdom faired together in a week lull of fun, - : attivities, and spirit. With a theme or event in mind for every day ' -.2 of that week, there wasn't ever a dull moment. One day was ,, devoted to the class themes. It was great fun to see one 's :lass T X E 5 ' mate dressed up and looking silly. Another was named school 7- 1, .- eolor day, where everyone dressed in the Kingdoms' colors, If black and gold. ophomore Sahara 5 Open Sesame and enter into Sophomore Sahara was the theme the Sophomores chose for Spirit Week. Their hallway's atmosphere was very much Egyptian, with hieroglyphics on the walls. genies coming out of magic lamps, and King Tut's tomb. On costume day, many Sophomores came dressed as sheiks, genies, and harem girls. Their skit involved an archaeological dig for Aladdin 's lamp. The Sophomores took fourth place. 3
