English Department This year the English Department has put a strong emphasis on improved reading and writing in all classes. Composition and Speech, taught by Mr. Vogler, was added to the curriculum. lt concentrates on writing along with oral communication. To help English skills, a summer reading program was added two years ago for honors students. Students are given a specified number of novels to read and are tested and given writings on it. :'f f ' lm
