Sophomores-Shoot For The Top . ■ ' 9M ' Under the coaching of Bishop graduate Ray Aubele, the sophomore team had a pretty successful season. They were 9 and 6 in the pre season and 5 and 5 during the season which added up to 14 wins and 11 losses. Matt Krutell was the leading scorer for this team. Even though this was Au- beles first year coaching the team he did a good job in leading this team through an exciting year. clockwise 2. Listen up — here ' s my plan. 3. J.V. ' s-Crash The Boards left to righ Dennis Qa it Sam Magana, nick Floratos, Darrius Watson, Hugo Oliva, Mike Campbell, Tcia, Darren Maag, Matt Marini Mot Pictured Andy Zimmerman, Joe Magyar The J.V. Coached by Jeff Guerrero, had a season of 3 wins and 16 losses. Under the coach, the team was united when things got tough and he kept their heads up. The team was lead by Mike Campbell (who aver- aged 14 points a game) and they went on to beat north. El Segundo and Murphy which was the sea- son ' s highlight. At the Murphy game, Darrell Maag scored the winning point in the last 10 seconds to make the score 100 to 101. All in all, the team kept a good attitude and supported each other in times of despair and they are looking forward to a much better Varsity season next year, clockwise 1. This was his first year at Bishop. The team had a tough year but they seemed to pull through it just fine. They did win their scrim- mage against South in their pre sea- son. The team was lead by Gerald Vil- laver who was very spirited and kept the team going especially in hard times. Pat Murphy also lead the team and gave his support and kept his teammates from getting down. clockwise 1. Look mom- lots of helping hands! Enjoy your trip and help me look for the ball!
