These musically inclined in- dividuals also helped with the entertainment in the Spring Christmas concerts at Luers and the Joint Concert at Dwenger on May 12. Geralyn receives the Caecilian Award. Luers Band Is Top Notch! The end of school marks the begin- ning of many activities for the Marching Knights. One of which is band camp at the end of July. Several hours of practice each week is necessary to make a good showing at the Indiana State Fair in August. A lot of people don ' t realize that band is full time. Thanks for your dedication! Drum Major Jeff Steinacker and Musician Repre- sentative Tim Ward. Band 47

Fred Link, newly appointed director of Chorus this year, had a lot to do with the improvement. Enthusiasm plays a major role in the choir ' s attitude, and that ' s one thing Fr. Fred has plenty of. This year ' s officers, too, definately had a hand in the group ' s success. Eve Colchin held the office of presi- dent; Roberta Liehr, 1st Soprano Section Leader; Gina Pontecorvo, 2nd Soprano Section Leader; Diane Hobson, Alto Section Leader; and Corina Pena, Freshman Repre- sentative.
