America, Mom, Apple Pie On Sunday, May 9th, the Music De- partment and the Art Department joined forces to present the Spring Concert. The Music Department consists of the Band, Lancers, Girl ' s Chorus and the Minstrels. The theme of spring concert was Amer- ica, Motherhood and Apple Pie. During intermission, apple pie and punch was served to the audience. • X • it , m 9 • • 6 Our mothers were honored on Mother ' s Day. The concert was narrated by Brother Love, a revival-type preacher played by Brother Den- nis. Some highlights of the con- cert were Mr. Slattery doing the solo My Way and Abe Morcor singing a song that people sing to their mothers in Mexico. The Art Department helped with decorations and also had a display of their work. Old Glory filled the gym stage. Sister Salvation narrates a song. Fr. Fred conducts the Lancers. 32 Spring Concert
