0I QlfU0l In an attempt to implant in the heart of every Loughlin student an earnest desire to follow the path which will lead him to God, we have made vocations the theme of this year's Loughlinite. In choosing this theme, it is our purpose to make the student more aware of the fact, that, although all vocations lead to salvation, he can be happiest only in the one which God has chosen for him. Therefore, we have interspersed throughout this collection of fond memories some ideas on the four basic vocations, viz. the priesthood, religious life, the married or single state. It is our sincere hope that these synopses will either give rise to a thought- ful interest on one of the four or revive half-forgotten ambitions, which will result in an ultimately happier and holier life under Our Lord, jesus Christ.
