Anchors awaylw is the phrase that best describes this year's Anchor Club. Re-affiliated with the Pilot Club Interna- tional, Kelley's Anchor Club has grown stronger in the school and the communi- ty. Under the navigation of Mrs. Oliver and Ms. Beck, Anchor Club sent junior Lynne Smith to the Freedom Founda- tion,s Youth Leadership Conference at Valley Forge. A club for all seasons, An- chor Club assumed its traditional role as hostess of the Luau, sold Goblin Grams at Halloween, and adopted a needy fami- ly at Christmas. Kelley's version of the Skull and Bones and the Porcellian is the Key Club. This club upholds a proud tradition within the hallowed halls of Kelley. Aside from posing for G.Q., Key Club's services include donating to the missions, caravans, and an occasional bus purification ritual. Kelley Builds With Boards The four class boards are extremely active in the Kelley com- munity. Nobody knows exactly what the Freshman Board does, but let us suppose they prepare their class for what seems to he the ultimate goal f sophomore year. The Sophomore Board sponsors class trips and activities. The major concern of the Junior Board is the successful outcome of the Juniorfsenior Prom.
