Blue Bon net Girls State GIRLS fiialsl i rs American Legion Boys State Representing Bishop High School at the American Legion Boys State were George Hohon, Tom Estes, and Dave Lockwood. The boys' sponsors were the American Le- gion, Lions Club, and Chamber of Com- merce. During their seven day stay, the boys worked toward accomplishing this year's purpose--to Learn By Doing the functions of our State Government. 16 Dawn Speigelhauer and Sharon Doedyns represented Bishop High School this past summer in Austin, at Blue Bonnet Girls State. Sharon was sponsored by The Amer- ican Legion Auxiliary, and Dawn was sponsored by the Lions Club.
