Your school has grown and will continue to grow. Are you, as students of today, grow- ing in such a manner that you will be able to shoulder the responsibilities as good citizens of your community tomorrow? Nice churches, modern school plants, good business establishments, parks, paved streets, new homes, and the like will make a community attractive, but they are not the real assets of a city. The real assets of a home, com mu.nity, state or nation are character, pride, honesty, ambition, and other intangible things. These assets can be gained by knowledge through a well rounded and properly applied educational program. Our most valuable possessions a.re those which can be shared with others without lessening the value or strength of them and which, when shared, wil multiply.
