Year in and year out the Gorman Community shows its support as well as its appreciation of the fine athe- letes at B.G.H.S. Tennis Wins State. . .Again Al. Men's Tennis Team: Top Row KL to Rl Khalid Wharton-Ali, Cedric Crear, Robert Morris, Paul Addi, Perry Rogers, Curt Magelby, Bret Anderson, john Bilstein, Coach Eric Seif. Bottom Row lL to RJ Scott Woolley, lay Oshins, Robert Agular, Derek Merino, Eric Kirschner, Mike Velgos 82 Sports The Tennis team at Bishop Gorman is synony- mous with one thing: WINNING. The team cap- tured its fouth consecutive State Tennis Title. Led by four year lettermen Cedric Crear, Curt Magelby, Perry Rogers and Khalid Wharton-Ali, the team cruised through the regular season and easily won the State title in Reno. These four Seniors completed their Varsity careers without a defeat. Many individual honors were achieved by the team, among them were: State Doubles Title for Cedric Crear and Matt Rivera, and Kha- lid Wharton-Ali, although suffering an early round loss in the Zone tournament, won all four of his matches in the State competition. The 1986 season was an exciting one, and once again the Gaels proved its powerhouse rating in Nevada High School Tennis.
